Ukraine: Cargo insurance market grows nearly 80% in first half
Posted On: Sep. 20, 2013 12:00 AM CSTUkraine's cargo insurance market expanded by 78% year on year in the first half of 2013 to 854.4 million Ukrainian hryvnias ($104 million), Forinsurer reported.
A total of 89,700 insurance contracts were signed during the period, representing a year-on-year increase of 190%. Risk ceded to reinsurance totaled around UAH 380 million, up nearly 500% year on year.
