Russia: Sogaz wins tender to insure Rosenergoatom's nuclear plants
Posted On: Aug. 22, 2013 12:00 AM CSTSogaz Insurance Group has emerged as the winner of a closed tender for property insurance for Rosenergoatom, a nuclear power station unit of Russian nuclear corporation JSC Atomenergoprom, Forinsurer reported.
The time period stipulated in the contract is Sep. 1 2013 to Aug. 31 2014 and the deal covers 10 nuclear power plants, including those in Kalinin, Rostov and Leningrad, among others. Sogaz outbid rivals OAO Rosgosstrakh and Max Insurance Group to win the tender.
