Canada: Quebec says Canadian Pacific Railway must help pay cleanup costs for train disaster

Quebec province is demanding that Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd., Canada's second-largest rail company, should help pay clean-up costs for the deadly Quebec crash that took place in July, Reuters reported.

Quebec said that Canadian Pacific had an agreement with Montreal, Maine and Atlantic Railway Ltd., under which the former was hired to transport the tanker cars of oil. A spokesman for Canadian Pacific said they are "not responsible for this clean-up."
