Gallagher Bassett Services Inc., the risk management and claims services unit of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., has named Gary Anderberg as senior vice president for claim analytics.
In his new role, Mr. Anderberg will work to improve Gallagher Bassett's analytics and technology tools, the broker said in a statement Tuesday.
“I was attracted to Gallagher Bassett's commitment to innovation and leadership in analytics, together with its ability to put the necessary resources behind its plans,” Mr. Anderberg said in the statement.
“We see state-of-the-art analytics as indispensable to our mission of delivering the industry's best outcomes for our clients,” Gallagher Bassett President and CEO Scott Hudson said in the statement.
Mr. Anderberg joins Gallagher Bassett from Broadspire Services Inc., where he served as practice leader for analytics and outcomes and as director of development for the e-Triage claim application, according to the statement.
“We're thrilled to have Gary on our team and know his thought leadership, unrivaled experience and practical implementation know-how will be major contributors to our future success,” Mr. Hudson said.
Mr. Anderberg will be based in New Hope, Pa.
