Todd Jones named CEO of Willis North America

Willis Group Holdings P.L.C. on Monday said Todd Jones has been named CEO of Willis North America Inc., effective immediately.

Vic Krauze, who has served as chairman and CEO of Willis North America since 2010, will retain his role as chairman and will work closely with Mr. Jones to grow the business, the company said in a statement.

Based in New York, Mr. Jones joined Willis in September 2003 and served in various roles in the company's retail and executive risks practices before becoming president of Willis North America in 2010.

A company spokeswoman said he will drop the title of president.

“Todd Jones is ideally suited to lead Willis North America at this stage of the business unit's growth, bringing to his position 10 years of increasingly prominent roles at our firm and having worked alongside Vic as their unit established itself firmly as a market leader in North America,” Dominic Casserley, CEO of London-based Willis Group, said in the statement. “As Todd moves into his new role, the business will benefit greatly from Vic's continued experience and expertise, a track record that helped guide the business as it doubled its footprint through the 2008 acquisition of HRH and established new momentum in building organic growth in recent quarters.”
