Ford recalls 465,000 vehicles globally over risk of fuel leak
Posted On: Jun. 4, 2013 12:00 AM CSTFord Motor Co. is recalling 465,000 vehicles globally for a potential fuel tank leak that could cause fires, Reuters reported. All of the recalled vehicles are from the 2013 model year.
The U.S. automaker has received 600 complaints, but there have been no reports of fires. The automaker also is recalling some 2013 Fusions vehicles for faulty steering gears and about 500 model-year 2013 Lincoln MKZ sedans for faulty engine block heaters, which the automaker will replace free of charge.
