Aon Benfield launches construction, engineering team

Aon Benfield, the reinsurance arm of London-based brokerage Aon P.L.C., has launched a construction and engineering team.

The team, which is based in London, is part of both Aon Benfield’s treaty and facultative divisions and is headed by Julian Wood, previously an executive director at Lockton Re, the reinsurance arm of Lockton Cos. L.L.P.

Areas of expertise of the team include contractors all-risk, erection all-risk, builders risk and course of construction coverages, as well as machinery breakdown, computer and electronic equipment and contractors plant and machinery coverages, Aon Benfield said.
