Hong Kong manufacturers fear more operational disruptions in Bangladesh

Hong Kong-based manufacturing firms have expressed concerns over further disruptions at their plants located in Bangladesh, The South China Morning Post reported. Hong Kong-listed Mainland Headwear said it has had to close its plant near Dhaka several times and Bangladesh's current political scenario adds to the uncertainty over operations there. The concerns come as labourers in Bangladesh have launched protests after the recent factory collapse that led to the deaths of more than 400 workers.
