U.K.: McCoy's potato chips recalled after discovery of plastic pieces
Posted On: Apr. 1, 2013 12:00 AM CSTSnack producer KP Snacks Ltd. is recalling multipacks of McCoy’s potato chips in the United Kingdom after pieces of plastic were discovered inside a number of packets, BBC news reported.
KP Snacks recalled some McCoy's multipacks with a best before date of Jun.15, 2013, and code 3066. The recall comes after the firm received complaints from a small number of consumers who found plastic pieces in McCoy's potato chips. The firm will refund those consumers who return the affected products unopened.
