Digital Benefit Advisors names national practice leader

Digital Insurance has named Pete Gruenberg as national practice leader of Digital Benefit Advisors, the middle-market broker said in a statement Thursday.

Before stepping into this newly created position, Mr. Gruenberg was an independent insurance consultant and mergers and acquisitions specialist, working as a part of the leadership team affiliated with Kohlberg & Co. L.L.C. He has also held positions at Willis North America; Hilb, Rogal & Hobbs Co.; Banc of America Corporate Insurance Agency L.L.C. and Meeker Sharkey Associates L.L.C.

He is based in Warrenville, N.J.
