CEO of Lockton International to step down

Julian James, who has served as CEO of Lockton International since April 2008, will be stepping down from his position in January./ Lockton International

Julian James will step down as CEO of Lockton International, the international division of brokerage Lockton Cos. Inc., effective Jan. 31, 2013, the company announced Tuesday.

Mr. James, who is based in London, has served as CEO of the unit since April 2008. He previously was director of worldwide markets at Lloyd's of London.

No successor has been announced. In a statement, Mike Hammond, chairman of Lockton's international operations, said the brokerage's leadership team would work with Mr. James to ensure an orderly succession.
