OFF BEAT: Warren Buffett's words to be set in stone in Sweden

What do you give a man who has everything, or could have anything money can buy?

Perhaps his own words inscribed in rock.

That is what a Swedish financial firm reportedly will do for Warren Buffett. Reuters reports that financial firm Spiltan Investment A.B. will honor Mr. Buffett by paying for an inscription of words attributed to him to be carved into rock.

Mr. Buffett, chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., is one of the planet's richest people, often dubbed the Oracle of Omaha or the Sage of Omaha for his investing acumen.

Spiltan's chief executive, Per Borjesson, told Reuters that he is an admirer of Mr. Buffett and thinks the Sage should be given the Nobel Prize for economics.

Instead, the company will arrange for the stone inscription to be placed along Sweden's southwest coast.

“Price is what you pay. Value is what you get,” the inscription will read.
