To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Germaine Marks named acting director of insurance for Arizona

PHOENIX—Germaine Marks has been named acting director of the Arizona Department of Insurance, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer announced Thursday.

Ms. Marks succeeds Insurance Director Christina Urias, who retires effective Friday.

Ms. Marks most recently served as deputy director of the department, a position she assumed in 2003. Before that, she was the department’s acting deputy director for regulatory affairs and executive assistant for regulatory affairs.

She also served as Arizona’s assistant attorney general.
