BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Aetna receives license to sell health insurance in Singapore

SINGAPORE—Aetna Inc. has received a license to begin selling health insurance in Singapore, the Hartford, Conn.-based health insurer announced Wednesday.

"We're very pleased to offer our insurance products in Singapore," said Derek Goldberg, Aetna International's Singapore-based managing director for Southeast Asia, in a statement. "Singapore is a very attractive market for Aetna. It has a vibrant, growing economy and a large number of expatriates and local residents who may need global or regional health care coverage."

In the statement, Michael Elliott, Hong Kong-based general manager for Aetna's Asia-Pacific region, said Aetna's entry into Singapore demonstrates the company's commitment to growing its business in the region. He added that Aetna also will offer technology-enabled health management services in Singapore and regionally.
