Hanover launches craft brewery insurance line

WORCESTER, Mass.—The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. has launched a specialty line of coverage for the craft brewery industry.

Called Hanover Craft Brewers Advantage, the product is tailored to meet the needs of small- to midsize brewers, contract brewers, microbreweries and brew pubs, the insurer said Friday in a statement.

The coverage with limits generally up to $500,000 includes protection against spoilage, contamination and changes in temperature. Hanover also offers a property and transit endorsements. It also offers liquor liability limits up to $2 million.
