BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.
NCCI’s 2012 State of the Line report contains lots of information on the workers compensation insurance market’s outlook, including the impact of Great Recession, insurer underwriting results, nationwide claims frequency data and the uncertain impact of health care reform. If you didn’t get a chance to attend the recent NCCI Annual Issues Symposium, listen to a 74-minute audio presentation of the report delivered at the conference.
