Brokerage Arthur J. Gallagher appoints corporate vps

ITASCA, Ill.—The board of directors of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has appointed three new corporate vps, the Itasca, Ill.-based brokerage announced Wednesday.

The three new vps are:

• Eric C. Dean, who is responsible for leading the company's global technology initiatives and aligning IT objectives and programs to corporate strategies.

• Jerome S. Hanner, who has served as Gallagher’s deputy general counsel since 2010, and

• Cara Richardson, Gallagher’s vp-sourcing and services.

"All of these individuals have the solid expertise and depth of experience that will add significantly to our corporate management team," said Gallagher Chairman, President and CEO J. Patrick Gallagher Jr., in a statement announcing the appointments. "Eric, Jerry and Cara are great examples of the leadership qualities we value within our culture and are instrumental to our continuing efforts to drive future growth."
