Willis Re names two Asia executives

SINGAPORE—James Beedle has been named CEO of Willis Re’s Asia operations, the reinsurance unit of Willis Group Holdings P.L.C. said Monday.

Previously, Mr. Beedle was CEO of Willis Re Japan. His responsibilities now include overseeing Brunei, China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.

He is based in Tokyo but will relocate to Singapore next month.

The reinsurer also announced that Mark Morley has been named managing director of Willis Re overseeing Southeast Asia. Previously, he was regional director of Southeast Asia.

Mr. Morley reports to Mr. Beedle. Both will be based in Singapore.
