Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford names chief commercial officer

LONDON—Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford Ltd. has named Shaun Hooper as chief commercial officer.

As part of his new position, Mr. Hooper leads the commercial development of the brokerage’s global operations. He reports to Toby Esser, CEO.

Previously, Mr. Hooper was the CEO of Cooper Gay & Co. Ltd., the company’s Lloyd’s of London market broker. He works primarily out of London, but Mr. Hooper will be based in Atlanta and New York while in the U.S.

Sam Hovey will succeed him as CEO of Cooper Gay, subject to regulatory approval. Previously, she was the chief financial officer.

She is based in London.
