Alexander Moczarski named chairman of Marsh & McLennan Cos. International

NEW YORK—Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. has named Alexander Moczarski as chairman of Marsh & McLennan Cos. International.

Mr. Moczarski will continue acting as president and CEO of Guy Carpenter & Co. L.L.C.

His new responsibilities include overseeing the company's international strategy and its international group of country corporate offices.

Mr. Moczarski is based in New York.
