Willis names David Thomas director of global business strategy

LONDON—Willis Group Holdings P.L.C. has named David Thomas as director of strategy and transformation within its global businesses division the brokerage announced in a statement Wednesday.

Effective immediately, he will report to Steve Hearn, chairman and CEO of Willis Global.

Previously, Mr. Thomas was the executive vp and managing director of Willis Re. Prior to joining the company, he was co-CEO of Carvill Group and CEO of RK Carvill & Co. Ltd., an international specialty reinsurance brokerage.

He is based in London.
