BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Redwood City Calif.-based Worldwide Broker Network Ltd., the world's largest network of privately held insurance broking firms, and New York-based risk services firm Hanover Stone Partners, L.L.C., announced jointly this week that Hanover Stone Partners has become the first non-broker associate member of WBN.

“The alliance between Hanover Stone Partners and WBN represents a new alternative for businesses in need of providers that can offer both comprehensive risk management services and insurance placement capabilities on a global basis,” said the two entities in a joint statement.

“The broad array of high quality advisory and risk services provided by Hanover Stone Partners throughout the U.S. provides a perfect complement to the collective broking capabilities of WBN members,” said WBN CEO Bruce Basso in the statement.

“We see tremendous synergies for clients of both organizations to benefit from complementary capabilities that add up to a one-stop solution for all of their risk needs on a global scale,” said John J. Kelly, managing partner at Hanover Stone Partners in the statement.
