BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.
Stamford, Conn.-based IVANS Inc. will join with hundreds of industry leaders on Wednesday—Leap Day—for National Real Time Day, IVANS announced today.
According to IVANS, the event was created by organizers of the “Get Real Time/Download Campaign” to promote the use of real-time technology among insurance agents and insurers to facilitate greater sales, efficiency and profitability. As part of the numerous sessions scheduled that day, IVANS will be leading two webinars that explore how real-time and download technology can speed up insurance transactions, reduce errors and streamline connectivity between insurance carriers, agents and brokers.
“As a long-standing sponsor of the industry's “Get Real Time/Download Campaign,' IVANS recognizes the importance of helping carriers work closely with its agents on how interface automation can play a significant role in improving business,” said Jim Ochiltree, president of IVANS property/casualty services. “We are excited to be participating in National Real Time Day, and look forward to listening to carriers and agents share their insights to help increase adoption of real-time across the industry.”
The campaign was launched in 2007 and is dedicated to improving the competitiveness of the independent agency distribution channel. “The campaign isn't advocating a specific technology, but a workflow approach that frees up more time for agencies to sell, process and service business,” said IVANS in its announcement. “Most agents can leverage tools already contained in their agency management systems or comparative raters.”
