Nissan's risk management efforts and disaster recovery

Among the industries hard hit by Japan’s March 2011 earthquake and tsunami was the country’s automobile industry. But for Nissan Motor Co., risk management helped the company deal with the disaster and sped Nissan’s recovery. In this interview, Shiga Toshiyuki, Nissan’s chief operating officer, discusses the part Nissan’s risk management efforts played in recovering from the catastrophe.
