NEW YORK—Sabrina Hart has been promoted by Zurich Financial Services Ltd. to chief underwriting officer for global corporate in North America.

Ms. Hart succeeds Paul Horgan, who has been named global head of group reinsurance in Switzerland, the insurer said in a statement Thursday.

Ms. Hart, who previously was chief operating officer for global corporate in North America, will be based in New York.
