Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. has added two directors to its board.

Elaine La Roche is a senior advisor to China International Capital Corp. US and served as CEO of China International Capital Corp. from 1997 to 2000. In addition, she held various posts at Morgan Stanley, including managing director and president and head of the Asia desk, as well as serving as vice chairman at J.P. Morgan China Securities.

The other addition to the Marsh & McLennan board, R. David Yost, for several years was CEO of pharmaceutical services company AmerisourceBergen Corp., from which he retired last year. Before that, he was CEO of Amerisource Health Corp.

“Elaine and David’s extensive backgrounds in the areas of finance and health care, coupled with their international and operational experience, will be of great value to the organization,” Ian Lang, Lord Lang of Monkton, independent chairman of the Marsh & McLennan board, said in a statement.
