Aon Risk Solutions hires Willis exec Chris Lee-Smith at U.K. retail business

LONDON—Chris Lee-Smith has been named chief operating officer of Aon Risk Solutions’ United Kingdom retail business based in London, the Aon. Corp. unit announced Thursday.

Mr. Lee-Smith previously was chief operating officer of Willis U.K. & Ireland, a unit of London-based Willis Group Holdings P.L.C., Aon said in announcing his appointment. He succeeds Tom Tinkler, who was promoted to CEO of Aon’s affinity business.

Mr. Lee-Smith works with Jim Herbert, CEO of Aon Risk Solutions’ retail business in the U.K. and reports to Simon Allen, chief operating officer of Aon Ltd.
