Lockton names former Marsh vp as property risk control consultant

SAN JOSE, Calif.—Lockton Cos. L.L.C. is strengthening its technology practice in the San Francisco Bay area with the addition of Duane Caldwell as property risk control consultant.

Mr. Caldwell most recently served as vp and senior property risk consultant at New York-based Marsh Inc. He also served as a Marsh Risk Consulting practice leader, providing risk analysis and strategic program recommendations to communications, media and technology companies. Prior to joining Marsh, he worked as corporate safety program manager for Cupertino, Calif.-based Seagate Technology L.L.C.

Mr. Caldwell will be part of the team reporting to Kevin Hoskinson, who recently joined Lockton as the technology practice leader in San Jose. Mr. Hoskinson was the former risk manager of Santa Clara, Calif.-based Sun Microsystems Inc., which was acquired by Redwood City, Calif.-based Oracle Corp. in 2010.
