MEXICO CITY--Lockton Cos. has named Fernando Ortega Amieva president of its Mexico operations and executive managing director of its Mexico City-based brokerage, Lockton Mexico Agente de Seguros y de Fianzas S.A. de C.V.
Mr. Amieva, who spent 30 years at Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. before starting his own risk management consulting firm, succeeds Alberto Espinosa, who left the firm, Lockton said in a statement Monday.
Mr. Amieva's consulting firm, Promeritum, will be integrated into Lockton's Mexico operations, it said.
Lockton's employee benefits and actuarial consulting firm in Mexico City--Lockton Consultores Actuariales Agente de Seguros y de Fianzas S.A. de C.V.--will continue operating under the leadership of Marcela Flores, Lockton said.
