SCOR premium volume up for first half of 2007

PARIS—SCOR S.E. posted a 12% increase in nonlife reinsurance premium volume for the first half of 2007.

The Paris-based reinsurer reported premium volume of €943 million ($1.27 billion) for nonlife business.

SCOR's total premium volume for the first half of 2007 was €2.12 billion ($2.86 billion), an increase of 55% over the comparable period in 2006.

SCOR will announce its first half results on August 29.
