ACE launches international construction unit

NEW YORK—ACE Overseas General formed a new international construction practice to provide a broad range of insurance products for private and public risks, the unit of ACE Ltd. announced Monday.

ACE International Construction will have "on-the-ground" operations in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Latin America, ACE said in a statement.

The practice group will be led by David Walters, vp, who is based in London. Mr. Walters will report to Paul McNamee, senior vp and head of international property for ACE Overseas General.

ACE International Construction aligns new and existing ACE capabilities in construction underwriting and global broking operations, the company said.
