BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

ASSE expands in Indonesia and Nigeria


DES PLAINES, Ill.—The American Society of Safety Engineers has established new chapters in Indonesia and Nigeria.

The Nigerian chapter has members throughout the country and plans to hold meetings in Lagos, Port Harcourt and other cities according to a spokeswoman for the Des Plaines, Illinois-based ASSE. The Indonesian chapter is based in Papua.

There are 49 ASSE members in Nigeria and 72 in Papua. With the new chapters, the association now is represented in 72 countries.
