SCOR owns 96.23% of Converium

PARIS—SCOR S.E. now owns 96.23% of the share capital of Converium Holding Ltd. after the French reinsurer's offer period for shares in Zug, Switzerland-based Converium.

Both reinsurers said that the combination of the two can now proceed according to plan, ahead of the Monte Carlo reinsurance meeting in September.

Converium will hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on Aug. 30, at which its current board of directors will step down, it said.
