Marsh Inc. names CEO of U.S. business

NEW YORK--Mark Feuer has been named to the newly created position of chief executive officer of U.S. business at Marsh Inc., the New York-based brokerage said Tuesday.

In addition to his new responsibilities, Mr. Feuer will continue to lead Marsh's U.S. middle-market and small commercial segment, Marsh said.

"By expanding Mark's role, we're further leveraging his proven expertise in developing powerful sales distribution platforms and creating a differentiated service culture that will benefit our U.S. clients," Marsh Chairman and CEO Brian Storms said in a statement.

Mr. Feuer joined Marsh in 2006 from Merrill Lynch. In his new role, he reports to Timothy J. Mahoney Jr., Marsh's CEO of the Americas, who will assume "an even higher profile" with the brokerage's largest U.S. and global accounts, Marsh said.
