To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Scottish Re names Zippel president, global CEO

HAMILTON, Bermuda--Life reinsurer Scottish Group Re Ltd. has named George Zippel as its president and global chief executive officer, effective Aug. 10.

Mr. Zippel, 48, will join Scottish Re immediately in a transitional role, according to the company.

Mr. Zippel was most recently president and CEO of a unit of Richmond, Va.-based Genworth Financial Inc. that included the company's life insurance, long-term care insurance and employee benefit businesses.

Paul Goldean, who has been serving as president and CEO of Scottish Re for the past year, will assume the role of chief administrative officer, effective Aug. 10, according to the company.
