BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Hiscox acquires book of K&R business from Aon

HAMILTON, BermudaHiscox Ltd. has acquired a portfolio of kidnap and ransom business from Aon Ltd., the London-based arm of Aon Corp.

The business, which Hiscox said it largely underwrites, principally comprises Latin American risks from third-party intermediaries.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but existing staff and systems will be transferred to Hiscox, the company said in a statement.
