AHIP meeting draws 3,600

LAS VEGAS--About 3,600 people attended America's Health Insurance Plans' 2007 annual meeting in Las Vegas June 20-22.

The meeting featured a speech on health care reform by California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and educational sessions on topics such as health information technology, wellness and prevention programs, and the evolution of consumerism.

Next year's meeting will be held June 18-20 in San Francisco.
