Aon Consulting names retirement practice head

CHICAGO--Aon Consulting has named long-time benefits consultant Cecil Hemingway to head its retirement practice operations.

In his new role, Mr. Hemingway will be responsible for strategy development and implementation of objectives, policies and plans in the retirement practice area.

For many years, Mr. Hemingway was a managing principal at Towers Perrin and held such positions as head of Towers Perrin's New York Metro Region Practice and head of the East Region Retirement Practice.

He will be based in the Stamford, Conn., office of Aon Consulting, which is a unit of Chicago-based Aon Corp.

Mr. Hemingway succeeds Chris Bone, who is retiring.
