DOHA, Qatar—The Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority has signed memoranda of understanding with the Isle of Man Insurance & Pensions Authority and the Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission.

The MOUs formalize arrangements whereby the agencies will cooperate and share information on Isle of Man firms doing business in the QFCRA.

"The establishment of cooperative relations with the FSC and IPA will assist in ensuring the effective supervision of firms from the Isle of Man applying to conduct activities in the QFC," said Phillip Thorpe, chairman and chief executive officer of the QFCRA, in a statement.
