Lloyd's appoints director of international markets

LONDON—Lloyd's of London has appointed Jose Ribeiro as director of international markets and business development.

Mr. Ribeiro's appointment completes Lloyd's senior management team for its international coverage. He will be responsible for promoting the market internationally, discerning new business opportunities and monitoring emerging markets.

Mr. Ribeiro will manage international operations in Europe, Asia, Australasia, Africa and South America. He will be working with newly appointed director, market operations and North America, Sue Langley.

He has joined from Willis Group Holdings Ltd. where he was managing director for Latin America and a member of Willis International's management team.
