Records seized from offices of Ohio TPA

COLUMBUS, Ohio--The Special Investigations Unit of the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation said it executed a search warrant Thursday at the Middleburg Heights, Ohio, offices of third-party administrator Burke & Associates.

The BWC also said it entered the Burke & Associates headquarters looking for evidence stemming from allegations that the TPA altered enrollment cards used by employers to select managed care organizations.

The BWC did not provide other details, but said Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann's office participated in the successful seizure of records.
