LONDONColin Campbell, the incoming chairman of the Association of Insurance and Risk Managers, has made "Communicating Risk Management" his theme for his year in office.
Mr. Campbell, who is head of risk management at London-based fashion retailer Arcadia Group P.L.C., said that he was keen to meet as many of AIRMIC's members as possible during his tenure, and "really engage the membership, so it becomes two-way communication."
Communication in the risk management sector can be improved, said Mr. Campbell.
AIRMIC will seek to clarify, among other things, what truly is meant by enterprise risk management, for example, he said.
