HRH to buy Kansas broker

LAWRENCE, Kan.--Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Co. has agreed to acquire retail agency/brokerage and benefits consulting firm Charlton Manley Inc.

Lawrence, Kan.-based Charlton Manley--which specializes in construction, medical professional liability and truckers liability, among other lines--last year had revenues of more than $10 million, Glen Allen, Va.-based HRH said in a statement.

Terms of the deal, expected to close next month, were not disclosed.
