BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

LONDON Sue Langley has been appointed director of market operations and North America at Lloyd's of London.

Ms. Langley previously was chief operating officer at Bermuda-based Hiscox Ltd.

Lloyd's said that the new role would have a focus on ensuring that the Lloyd's market is an easy place to do business, among other things.

Julian James, director of worldwide markets at Lloyd's, left the market last month to become executive chairman of broker Lockton Cos. International Ltd., the London-based unit of Kansas City, Missouri-based Lockton Inc.
