XL revamps D&O policy

LONDON— XL Insurance has revised its directors and officers insurance policy.

XL Insurance, the U.K.-based professional lines division of the Hamilton, Bermuda-based XL Capital Ltd. group of companies, launched the product Tuesday. "A PLUS D&O Advantage" is a development of the company's existing product line and offers primary coverage or excess and difference-in-conditions above an existing D&O liability product, it said.

The product includes features such as the provision of blanket coverage for outside directorships of non-profit and privately-owned for profit entities, and coverage for extradition cost.
