BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.
LONDONThe British Insurance Brokers' Assn. has launched a service that will inform members what rating the insurance companies they are using have achieved.
The Insurance RatingsView service, provided by Standard & Poor's Corp., will give members the information in real time and is designed to ensure that they are compliant with the Financial Services Authority requirements for due diligence.
The service will keep brokers informed of the financial strength rating of more than 100 United Kingdom and Irish insurers, based on the assessment of nine criteria covering financial, industry and business factors.
