SCOR consults with employees on move to SE status

PARIS—French reinsurer SCOR S.A. has set up a committee aimed at involving employees in the company's transformation to Societas Europaeas status.

Paris-based SCOR, which has bid to acquire its Swiss rival Converium Holding Ltd., aims to transform its three parent companies —SCOR, SCOR Global P&C and SCOR Global Life —into Societas Europaeas.

SCOR said it had set up a Common European Companies Committee to involve employees in the transformation.
