BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

LONDON--Integro Ltd. continues to build its newly formed London-based insurance and reinsurance business unit at the expense of Guy Carpenter & Co. L.L.C.

Integro said Friday it has hired Charles Waddington, former managing director and head of Guy Carpenter Facultative's worldwide casualty division, to lead the new unit's casualty practice.

Earlier this month, the New York-based brokerage announced the formation of the London unit, which will offer reinsurance, insurance and wholesale capabilities for independent brokers around the world as well as its international network of broker partners that help place global risks for Integro's large U.S. clients.

Julian Samengo-Turner and Ron Whyte, who formerly led Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. unit GC Fac Worldwide, oversee the new Integro unit, while Marcus Hopkins, previously head of Guy Carpenter's U.K. facultative reinsurance operations, is heading up the unit's London operations.

Mr. Waddington will join Integro's reinsurance operations this fall, the broker said.
