Cooper Gay boosts Latin American network

LONDON— Cooper Gay (Holdings) Ltd. has boosted its Latin American presence by taking a shareholding in a Miami- and Buenos Aires-based reinsurance broker, Reinsurance.com.ar.

Reinsurance.com.ar was founded by Guillermo Pastore last year and he is chief executive officer of the operation. Mr. Pastore was previously chief operating officer of EW Blanch Argentina and Benfield Greig Argentina.

Cooper Gay already has offices in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Ecuador.
