BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Duck Creek to expand into SC tech corridor

Reprints

COLUMBIA, S.C.—Duck Creek Technologies Inc. has committed to establish facilities in the University of South Carolina's Innovista "innovation district," an area in Columbia, S.C., intended to draw both public- and private-sector researchers to combine high-tech business with medium-density housing and recreational opportunities.

South Carolina economic development officials are hopeful that adding Bolivar, Mo.-based Duck Creek to a mix of companies in Columbia, which already includes Fiserv Inc. and Computer Sciences Corp., could help spur the city to becoming a major center of insurance technology firms.

Duck Creek plans to have at least 200 employees at the Columbia site. The company currently has facilities in Bolivar and Farmington, Conn., and recently added European operations.
